Botswana
Botswana is one of the most stable and peaceful nations in Africa. It is also home to the Okavango Delta – a birdwatcher’s paradise and home to thousands of varieties of animals. The Delta is so huge that it can be seen from outer space. Botswana is also home to the massive and beautiful Kalahari – a desert in the winter but lushly green in the rainy summer months.

Deception Valley Lodge : Situated deep in the Kalahari this is one of Botswana’s most luxurious camps. Full of local artifacts and nice comfy sofas. A small pool directly overlooks a waterhole. The only downside is the relative lack of big game. Accommodation can be booked through Audley Travel.

Vumbura Plains: Located In a private reserve within the Okavango Delta, this place exudes high end luxury. The rooms are spacious and contemporary with incredible views of the delta. Food and service is of a very high standard.
